a day on falls lake

last weekend, ricky and i went to falls lake to meet up with some of friends and go out on their boat for the day. it was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun! i got a few pictures, but i was a little preoccupied with getting an even suntan, so i didn't get too many. :)

recital weekend

the weekend of june 10th was a hectic one, to say the least. i happened to be involved in two different studio recitals, while at the same time, directing my first musical at field of dreams performing arts conservatory: charlotte's web. we began rehearsing for the musical back in december and it finally premiered that weekend. it was a blast, but i definitely felt relieved after the show was over. a lot of work finally came to an end!

when i got to the theater that saturday morning, the NRCA stage was set and ready to go. all we needed was an audience!

backstage, everyone was getting ready - makeup, hair, mics, etc!







then it was time for sound check!











these kids did such an awesome job! i was like a proud mom. CONGRATS charlotte's web cast!

later that day, field of dreams performed their dance recital. i was working headset for that show, so i only snagged a few pictures.






congratulations field of dreams - you all ROCK and i can't wait for another year with the studio and all my lovely dancers!
