this year, instead of labor day weekend, the whole family gathered at our house in holden beach the last weekend in october. unfortunately, lauren couldn't make it, but we were thinking about her and missing her the whole time!! (cant wait for Christmas!!)
most everyone arrived late friday night, so the festivities began on saturday morning. chris had the idea of taking everyone to planet fun. oh what fun it was...

as soon as we got there, we went straight to the glow-in-the-dark putt putt! the pictures didnt come out so well, but here is one anyway.
ellie was definitely having fun!
we played pretty much every game in the whole building.
yep, i got ricky to do DDR with me.
later that day, we all relaxed in our sweatpants while mom and dad prepared dinner. there was also a beautiful sunset outside - i love holden beach sunsets!

dinner was so so yummy!
after dinner, we played board games, watched hockey games on TV, and passed around little ellie.
oh, and some yo gabba on the laptop was necessary.
