alright blog friends, i have finally gotten around to posting from new years! this year, we were back at holden beach with the whole family again. on the afternoon of new years eve, meredith and i decided to have a little photo shoot with ellie and brooks. i was excited to use my new lens that i had just got for Christmas, especially since i got to take pictures of my two favorite kids in the world!

here is ellie. had to get some 1st christmas outfit pictures, and then a few eskimo emo shots. :) is she not the most beautiful little baby girl you've ever seen??

and i decided to stick in a random one of lauren i took during the shoot. i liked the reflection in her sunglasses in this one.

and then it was brooks's turn. he was so cooperative.















this family breeds amazing eyeballs.





after his shoot, he went right back to his happy place: wii bowling.

later, as the sun was setting, i took some pictures of the rest of the family. it was so beautiful outside! i could wake up to this porch every morning.

that night, we kept up the new years eve tradition and went to boonedock's for dinner. brooks was hype for the yummy food! (mostly the bread)










after dinner, we all went back to the house and played some games while waiting for the ball to drop. we were pretty lame - no fun party hat pictures this year, sorry. but HAPPY NEW YEARS from the juengel fam! wishing everyone an incredibly blessed and prosperous 2012!

welcome back to holden beach!

the day after Christmas, mom, sees, and I headed to holden beach for the week. it was absolutely gorgeous the entire week - literally, 65 degrees everyday. i didnt even have anything to wear the whole time because all i had packed were sweaters and long pants! sad story, but not really...








on tuesday, chris, meredith, brooks, and ellie joined us at the beach house. that night, steph and saylor came to play.

saylor and brooks were love at first sight.

they had a lot of fun playing together.







the next night, dad and ricky arrived. we decided to celebrate by going to patronie's pizza for dinner! sadly, i only took a couple pictures, but at least they were good ones! :)



on thursday, a present arrived from chris and meredith to the whole family: georgetown cupcakes!! YUM

and yes, we combined our efforts and ate all of the cupcakes.

also on that day, dad went and picked up our new air hockey machine! he got it for a steal from a local guy at the beach. it was in perfect condition and brooks and i had a blast playing against mimi on it!

and then she went down for a nap



while ricky and brooks played wii bowling. (brooks actually beat ricky in bowling - sorry ricky)!

on saturday morning, brooks got to stuff his build-a-bear that meredith had sewn for him. he was excited to put the stuffing inside and get him dressed up!





ellie also enjoyed watching the process.
