ok so this year i didnt get spring break, you know, since im living in the real world and all now. but mom and i decided to plan a trip out to california so that i could pretend like i was still on spring break anyway! and march in la jolla was one of the best decisions weve ever made. not only did i get to see my seester for the first time in months, but we also enjoyed a gorgeous week of 80 degree weather and lots of great food and culture! to start off the week, we visited one of my favorite places EVER to eat: the burger lounge.
this place literally has the best burgers i have ever eaten in my life.
that night we went to the new sprinkles in san diego - we all enjoyed some yummy cupcakes and then went to see lauren's show! and though i did not take any pictures of her hard at work, she did an amazing job and ive concluded that shes pretty much the best stage manager in the world.
the next day we went for a walk all over la jolla. lauren found a new trail and took us along. i also brought my camera, and yes the camera bag too. thanks chris and mere, your christmas present is getting a lot of use! :)

the day ended with a drive up to mt. soledad. there was a huge cross at the top of the mountain and you could literally see the entire city from there!

for dinner on thursday night, we went to one of our favorite mexican restaurants, en fuego.
their chips and salsa are DE-licious! mmmm

that night, mom and i went to see taylor trensch in little miss sunshine at the lajolla playhouse! he was amazing, as usual, and i was so excited to see someone i knew onstage!
march definitely started off with a bang this year - ill miss you till may seester, but thanks for another awesome week in california!
