ECJ: ten days old

the other night i had the chance to take some pictures of my precious little niece, ellie. we were trying to get some pictures before she got older than 10 days and i made it right on the 10th day! unfortunately, i could only find time at night, so the lighting wasn't ideal. BUT at least we got something! and i look forward to trying again for her 1 month photos in the daylight! :)





she was also awake the entire time - that gives these pictures brownie points! right?

nick & stacie: engaged!

on september 4, 2011, nick patrone proposed to my roommate, stacie snipes. i was so excited to have coincidentally been a part of the experience, and i am so happy for my roomie (besides the fact that i'm going to need to find a new living situation). :)

they can tell you more of the story, but that night nick took stacie out on the dock of her parents beach house in holden beach and got down on one knee to ask her hand in marriage. she said yes and they were both incredibly happy the entire night! i didn't get any pictures of that night, besides on my cell phone, but the next morning we did a little photo shoot on the beach. here are some of my favorite pictures - enjoy!

on august 29, 2011, my precious baby niece was born - 7 lbs 2 oz; 19 in. meet ellie claire juengel.



everyone was so excited to finally meet her!

and meredith looked absolutely beautiful. so thankful that mom and baby are healthy and happy - what a blessing to have such an amazing family.






i didn't get many pictures at the hospital, but meredith and i have already set a date to take some newborn pictures in the next few days. be on the lookout! im really excited!
