"be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." -Ephesians 5:1-2
on friday, april 20th, my sister and i traveled to lenoir, NC for the wedding of one of our friends from el salvador, annie mejia (griffin). that weekend, she was married to stephen griffin, and i am so happy for them both! it was so great to finally meet stephen and i enjoyed getting to be a fly on the wall/photographer for the weekend. here is the church in lenoir where they were married. it was such a gorgeous day for a rehearsal/dinner!
inside the church.
the groomsmen.
the bridesmaids.
practicing for the big day!
annie's parents.
the maid of honor, gloria mejia.
presenting mr. & mrs. griffin to be!
after rehearsal, it was time to head down the road to the lenoir library for dinner. this library actually used to be a bank and it was so beautiful from the outside, especially on such a pretty day.
here they are! of course, we had to have a quick photo op.
i love the American flag waving in the background of this one!
it smelled really good as we walked inside - they catered some good ol' southern cookin - fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, galore!
and strawberry shortcake for dessert!
after dinner, it was time for some toasts and roasts!
congratulations annie & stephen! stay tuned for the wedding pictures, coming so soon!
