tuesday was our second day at the clinic in la union.
before the day started, we got a picture of the GHO team.
the day began with a prayer, and then everyone got to work immediately.
it was realllllly hot in la union. you dont even understand.
we also added the dental clinic on tuesday - yay for lez and her awesome dentist skills!
later in the day, the kids came through the clinic singing songs in a conga line!
i decided to follow them back outside to see what they were doing.
then i headed back to the eyeglass clinic for the rest of the day. mi amigos de lentes worked really hard, every day, all day. i was so proud of our team!
at the end of the day, while everyone was packing up and getting ready to go, michael mackelvie taught some of the kids how to swing a baseball bat. they loved it.
here is the huge tree that was right outside the clinic - it literally looked like it was taken straight out of the lion king movie set. i have to give props to carter reynolds for capturing some of these pictures, as he used my camera a little everyday to help me some while i was working in the clinic.
