AB's bachelorette party!

"at the beginning of creation God made man and woman. for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. so they are no longer two, but one. therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." Mark 10:6-9

about a month and a half before the big day, AB's bridal party got together for dinner at B christophers in burlington to celebrate the bride!! we were all so excited to be together and spending time with our beautiful friend, ann bradey lewis. here she is!

trip to boston

"the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does." psalm 33:4

on august 20th, i joined the winters family on a trip to boston - it was my first time visiting and i was so excited! the newell family came with us too, so it made for a really fun week! upon arrival, we were taken from the airport to our hotel in this awesome bus. all 13 of us hopped on!

check out the view from our hotel room window! kim and i were besides ourselves. such a beautiful city!
first thing on the calendar: lunch! we had some DE-licious burgers! yum! after lunch, we ventured around the city - it was a gorgeous day, 65 degrees and sunny.
that night, we all went out to dinner at Grill 23. another amazing restaurant! and i had the best dessert - a butterscotch sundae!
the next morning, we headed off on the freedom trail. first, we visited the old north church.
we learned all about the ringing of the bells in the top of the church. i loved hearing the history that lived in that building.
whats cool is, the church is still in session today!
we were able to sit in seats filled with history.
here is the window where they jumped through and escaped the British!
outside: paul revere's statue.
next, we followed the freedom trail down to paul revere's house.
after exploring his house, we were ready for some FOOD. we had an amazing italian lunch!
and what better way to top off lunch than with a famous mike's pastry!
that night, i went to my first ever red sox game at fenway park. i was SO excited! i love baseball games!
the following day, the girls spent the day shopping and eating at girly restaurants and just enjoying each other's company. the guys went on another historial tour and then headed back to fenway for another night of baseball.
post lunch treat!
i even ran into my favorite bostonian, casey castine!!
we all ended the night back together at max brenner's where everything on the menu has chocolate in it!
the last day we did some more shopping. this time at faneuil hall! and before we left, we stopped in at the union oyster house for lunch - the best clam chowder in America is most definitely in Boston.
before heading back to the airport, we stopped for one last family pic. what an awesome week!! thank you winters and newell families for taking me along! I officially LOVE Boston.
*side note: this is a collection of pictures taken by multiple people - the best ones are most likely by larry winters. but i just wanted to share my awesome experience i had through pictures! thank you all for letting me borrow your photographs. :)
