on april 21, 2012, my good friend from el salvador, annie mejia, was married to stephen griffin!
the morning began with lots of preparation. lauren and i arrived early to take pictures and capture every moment we could all day!

around lunch time, i gathered all the guys for a quick photo shoot while the girls were still getting ready. how convenient was it that we had this amazing field in the backyard of the church? and it wasn't raining! what rain, weatherman??

meanwhile, back in the church, annie's mother was helping her put on her dress.
she looked so beautiful!
soon it was time for the bride and her bridesmaids photo shoot.
and while it was still clear outside, we ran toward the field to get a couple pictures! unfortunately, it started to rain a little as soon as we got out there, so i literally only took about 3 pictures before we all ran back inside.
back inside, the girls began to put on the final touches.
and of course, pray over annie and the whole wedding.
then it was wedding time and everyone was ready to go! the guest book was being signed...er, stamped.
the church was ready.
the car was waiting outside.
and the girls were waiting by the door!
once the whole wedding party was inside the church, it was time for the bride to enter!

after the wedding, the newlyweds stood outside and greeted all their guests as they left the church.
then it was time for a few family pictures inside church.
