a michigan wedding

"be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." -ephesians 5:1-2

on september 16, my parents and ricky and i took a flight out to michigan for the weekend to visit family and attend my cousin's wedding. we arrived early friday afternoon, and since there was time to spare before dinner, we took a detour to the amway corporation in ada, MI.

it was HUGE - literally more than a mile long of buildings.

we thoroughly enjoyed our educational trip to the corporation. not to mention, our stop by the devos "summer home" estate on the way to our hotel that night. seriously, a summer home? tell me this doesn't build your dream! (cell phone pics)

the next day, we went to lunch at a fun little restaurant on lake michigan. it was a beautiful day - perfect for a wedding! (cell phone pics)

later that day, my cousin lindsay was married to alex davidson.

the place where she was married was absolutely gorgeous. i took advantage of the situation and had a small photo shoot with mom, dad and ricky before the ceremony.

saugatuck, MI was absolutely beautiful. soon it was time for the wedding to begin!

here comes the bride...

you may kiss the bride!

mom, dad and i with the clark family.

and then it was time for the party!

i was very excited about our sweet passes we wore around our necks! it was like we were VIP at a concert.

i loved lindsay's picture table of all the parents and grandparents in the family on their wedding days.

congratulations to lindsay and alex davidson!

the (cup)cake! MMM

hittin the dance floor!

the next day, we went by my uncle jeff's house for a post-wedding brunch with the family. i took this picture of mom and her brother before we said goodbye that day.

before heading back to the airport, we stopped by the amway grand plaza hotel for lunch.

the inside of the hotel was breathtaking - such gorgeous architecture and decoration!

alright, who is next to be married? im ready to see you all again!
