the gathering place

"Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations... may the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands." -Psalm 90:1, 17

this weekend was the first time that my entire family was able to meet at our new beach house! we closed on the house in august and we were so excited that everyone could come together for the whole weekend!



one of our favorite parts about the house: the porch. in fact, the house is currently named "porch call" - for obvious reasons. we are looking at changing the name to "the gathering place" - what do you think? i personally think its perfect.

here is little brooksy waking up from his nap.

he had some serious sleep hair.

for dinner the first night, we all made fajitas and they were very yummy!



after dinner, we went to our favorite ice cream shop.

i scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
