virgin gorda. days 5-6

on wednesday, we got to take a private chartered boat over to the island of anegada! check out this boat:

it just happened to be the same boat that was recently taken by beyonce & jay-z and j-lo & marc antony. you better believe tara and i put our butts exactly where beyonce's had been!

(after attempting to lay out on the front of the boat with kim and realizing the waves were a bit choppier than we thought, we moved to the back of the boat for a relaxing ride to the island) it was one of the coolest boat rides i have ever been on - ridiculous views of the blue-green ocean water.

about an hour later, we docked on anegada

and then boarded our ride to the restaurant/our hang out place for the afternoon.

here is the view from our taxi/open air pick-up truck with seats (the best way to travel in the islands, in my opinion)

welcome to cow wreck!

while we waited for lunch, i of course spent most of the time laying out.

i also watched some kite surfers

the guys played ping pong

we went for a walk on the beach

did some more laying out...

and then it was finally time for lunch! best lobster i've ever had (pretty sure its the first lobster ive ever had too ha)

after lunch, we got back on the boat home.

on our way back, our captain mitchell took us by necker island, owned by richard branson - only $52,000 a night to stay there!

we also went by his yacht - the necker bell.

and another huge mansion boat, owned by someone else i can't remember - but its worth $250 million!! literally its as big as a cruise ship.

the next morning, us kids went down the street to the baths national park.

the baths are basically a natural playground created by God just for us to enjoy! they are made up of a ton of rocks that you can climb and crawl through. they even added some ropes and ladders to help you get through the maze of boulders.

the guys particularly enjoyed seeing how high they could climb. isnt this crazy?

yay baths!

after touring the baths, we went back to the beach in front of our villa and played in the water while we waited for the ayers to arrive.

as soon as the ayers arrived, we all headed out for lunch at a restaurant with THE best view on the island...

hog heaven!

the burgers were amazing, but i guess nothing could taste bad with this view while you're eating!

after lunch we went back to the villa to hang out before thanksgiving dinner. chef mimi was already in the kitchen when we arrived at 2:30pm, which meant we had about 2.5 hours to get hungry again after eating a huge lunch ha! i decide to workout and take a nap. sadly, neither of those made me hungry enough to eat as much as i wanted to at dinner. oh well - you live, you learn. when i woke up from my nap, i found this: happy thanksgiving rainbow!

and then it was TURKEY time!

best part of the meal, hands down: sweet potato pie with roasted marshmallows on top. mmm

i am so thankful for all of these people and the most amazing week on virgin gorda!

i was missing my Juengels, but also thankful for picture emails from home! :)
