virgin gorda. days 7-10

"I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving...you who seek God, may your hearts live!" Psalm 69:30, 32

alright, so im going to go ahead and apologize for the lengthiness of this blog post. but i am trying to fit the final 4 days in 1 post so, you know, it happens.

on friday we got up and went back to the baths for one last swim/climb. that place was so cool!

then we all met up for brunch at the top of the baths. i ordered the "hungry man breakfast" - obviously.

here is our view from brunch:

that afternoon, we all spent time on the beach right in front of our villa. tara was on her paddleboard all week! she was already great, but now im pretty sure she could go pro!

kim and stephen went kayaking

and ricky and i went snorkeling

here are some underwater pictures!

then it was time for some serious basketball. i decided to sit and watch. the funny thing is, the guys actually spent approximately 10 hours a day on the tennis courts, but i never really took any pictures of them!

the next morning, we all got up early for a few more pictures on some awesome rocks. it was definitely a gorgeous morning for that!

then we hopped in the car and headed back to the marina for our second dive with BVI! this time we went to the RMS rhone ruins!

we learned all about the history of the shipwreck before exploring the ruins.

and then down we went!

here i am with my trainer, maja. she was awesome!!

that night, we all went out to dinner at a restaurant called "the mine shaft cafe" - it had an amazing view of the water and some of the islands!

i couldn't decide which entree i wanted for dinner, so i just ordered both! burritos and coconut shrimp. boom.

the next day (sunday) was tara and matt's final day on the island. that morning, tara and kim and i put on our matching dresses that pam got us from topsail island and had a little photo shoot of our own.

these make me laugh.

then we had a little paddleboard yoga session. i did some planks...

and then got completely shown up my ricky, tara, and matt.

then it was time to say goodbye to the mccleskeys!

that afternoon, the remaining kids went back to the bitter end for some water sporting. kim, stephen, and matt lee rented a sailboat, while ricky and i rented a dingy and drove around at the high speed of 10 mph in the ocean. good times. :)

we went back to the same spot on saba rock for lunch - this maui wowie burger was DE-licious!!

that night, we packed up, got take-out for dinner and snuggled up on the couch with a movie. the next day was leaving day. :( here are some pictures of the guys getting on the helicopter! the rest of us got back on the little planes to st. thomas.

and that's about it. there are no words to express how thankful i am to have had the opportunity to go on this trip! hope you all enjoyed the pictures!
